This is really funny!

Thomas Baekdal from baekdal.com created this hysterical video about measuring browser sizes. For the music part, he is using "Dizu" - one of Senbei's composition from our Royalty Free Music library. It is a perfect match. We love it!

By the way he also wrote this excellent report about "Actual Bowser Sizes" - in all seriousness.

Christmas Music Press release

Premiumbeat.com Royalty Free Music Library Unveils its Holiday and Christmas Music Collection

Premiumbeat.com, an international provider of high quality Royalty Free Music , announced today that it now offers a broad selection of musical tracks and loops for the Holiday season.

Montreal, Canada (PRWEB) October 17th, 2006 – Premiumbeat.com Royalty Free Christmas Music is now available for holiday projects. Whether for websites and e-cards, advertising on TV or radio, music-on-hold, or corporate videos and events, music is an essential part of the Holiday Season.

“Music has an uncanny power to instantly bring the Holiday spirit to life,” says Gilles Arbour, partner at Premiumbeat.com. “Nothing evokes Christmas better than Christmas Carols and Songs. And we can’t imagine this season without its traditional music. It surrounds us and brings joy and a festive spirit.”

For many nations, the Holiday season is the most economically significant part of the year. Sales increase dramatically on the Internet and in the brick-and-mortar world, and the economic impact of the Holidays continues even after the season. According to the National Retail Federation (NRF), one-fifth of all retail sales in the US (19.9%) occur during the holiday season, making it the most important time period of the year for the industry. The NRF predicts that holiday retail sales will increase 5% over last year. That would put total holiday spending in the US alone at $457.4 billion.

In lieu of mailings, many corporations now send e-cards with Flash music loops to their clients and associates. Websites greet visitors with the sound of Christmas carols, and telephone-on-hold music echoes this theme. Radio and television advertising during this period is filled with Holiday music. Television networks add Christmas themes to their standard programming, run traditional holiday movies, and produce a variety of Holiday specials.

According to Shop.org/Shopzilla, to bring customers to their websites, multichannel retailers will be planning a variety of online and offline marketing strategies for the holidays. Offline, retailers will invest in traditional media advertising such as radio (31.6%) and television (26.3%).

“We’ve asked our musicians to create new interpretations of classic Holiday music.” says Francois Arbour at Premiumbeat.com. “We’re very pleased with the music they’ve developed and feel blessed by their creative talents. Their music will add zest to any Holiday presentation.”

Premiumbeat.com is constantly adding new music to its Royalty free music library as well as new tools to make their clients’ experiences better. A team of 20 professional musicians keeps creating new, premium quality Stock Music and Flash loops for Web designers, interactive marketing agencies, video artists, motion designers, film makers, TV and Radio show producers.

Premiumbeat.com, a royalty-free music library, is the creation of Francois Arbour and Gilles Arbour. Francois Arbour, an award-winning Macromedia certified Flash Developer, has been working in the multi-media industry for almost 10 years. Gilles Arbour has trained thousands of people in sales and marketing during the last 20 years. Both have seen, over and over, how music moves people to action. Montreal, Canada (PRWEB) October 10, 2006 -- Premiumbeat.com is now offering several models of free flash MP3 music player for websites. Adding music to websites has been a challenge to many beginners. Now Premiumbeat.com provides a simple way to add music to websites, with detailed instructions.

“A flash MP3 player allows people to add a musical personal touch to their website,” says Gilles Arbour, one of the partners at premiumbeat.com. “We’ve had many customers who wanted to purchase Royalty Free Music tracks from us but didn’t know how to make them play on their website.” Music on the internet is now the norm and people are delighted to find a simple and easy way to play music on their own website. We’re receiving an enormous amount of positive feedback and praise from our visitors. Many young talented musicians are using the flash music player to showcase their own music and this makes us very happy.”

Background music makes a website more stimulating and alive. Today’s Web surfers are demanding not only information, but also an entertaining Internet experience. Properly chosen music enables a more complete appreciation of a website. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a picture with music is worth ten thousand.

“Even the beginner level web designer will find it very easy to integrate the player on their website,” adds co-partner Francois Arbour. “It ‘s been downloaded over a thousand times already and we’ve had very little request for support. In fact, by the time I respond to a question most people have already figured it out. The instructions provide details for all models.”

10 Good Reasons to add Royalty Free Music to Your Website

The number of Internet broadband subscribers surpassed 200 million. According to the Computer Industry Almanac, this number is forecasted to reach 500M by the end of 2010. This expanded broadband capacity is creating an explosion of rich media productions.

Companies are now demanding music-enriched websites, advertising and e-learning tools to serve this growing clientele. Sounds and images are now the norm and music is being integrated at every step. To meet that demand, Web designers and Flash developers are constantly looking for good music at a decent price.

Here’s why Royalty Free Music is the best option available on the Internet.

1. Royalty Free Music is 100% legal.
When you purchase a license from a Royalty Free Music vendor, you are legally allowed to play the music on your website. No need to worry about copyright or music clearance.

2. Royalty Free Music is cost effective.
Licensed music can cost a fortune! But you can use original musical compositions on your website for a fraction of the cost one would normally pay.

3. Royalty Free Music is instantly available.
As soon as your transaction has been processed, a link is sent to your email address. You simply click on the link and follow the instructions to download the music immediately. No need to wait for a CD to come in the mail.

4. Royalty Free Music offers worldwide unlimited license.
Once you purchase a license, you can use the recording for as long as you want, anywhere in the world, with no additional payments.

5. Royalty Free Music is made by professional composers.
Several Royalty Free Music libraries are now filled with professional quality work. Long gone are the days when Royalty Free Music or Stock Music meant low quality “canned music”.

6. Royalty Free Music is flexible to fit your needs.
Available in various formats, track lengths may be as short as 15 seconds or as long as 10 minutes. Loops are also available. Loops are small piece of music that “loop” or repeat themselves indefinitely. Because of their small size, loops load rapidly and are often used for flash animations.

7. Music helps you stand out and capture your visitors’ attention.
Times have changed. Over 30 million websites are competing for the attention of more than 1 billion users. High speed broadband use on the Internet keeps expanding. Streaming music and videos are everywhere. Internet surfers now expect websites enriched with music and images.

8. Music makes your website more stimulating and alive.
Today’s Web surfers are demanding not only information, but also an entertaining Internet experience. Properly chosen music enables a more complete appreciation of your website. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a picture with music is worth ten thousand.

9. Music moves people to action.
Music makes any presentation more effective. Music adds instant mood to a message, and helps people bond with the values of your products and services. Multimedia presentations are far more engaging. People will feel more emotionally connected to your website.

10. Music can be integrated into your website within minutes.
You can easily find inexpensive Flash Music Players on the Internet. Some websites even offer various models for free. Simple and clear instructions make for an easy installation on your website.

If you want to add music to your website, Royalty Free Music is the way to go. Stay on the legal side without going broke, and feature high quality professional music. Get you visitors’ attention and help them remember your website by engaging their emotions through music.

Premiumbeat.com adds Audio Logos to Its Royalty-Free Music Library

Premiumbeat.com, an international provider of high quality, royalty-free music, announced today that their online service now includes an Audio Logo Section. The new audio logos are both highly affordable and instantly downloadable. Custom audio logos are also available with a rapid turnaround.

Montreal, Canada (PRWEB) May 24, 2006 – (http://www.premiumbeat.com) Audio Logos or Audio Themes are powerful marketing tools. People use them to brand their podcast, newscast or their videoblog. Organisations charge up their corporate logo with a strong but short audio sequence. The compelling sound bite accompanying a visual animation creates a lasting imprint.

“It’s been proven that music makes presentations more effective. Music adds mood to a message, and helps people bond with the values of a presentation’s products and services. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a picture with music is worth ten thousand. This is why advertisers are committing more and more resources to rich media presentations powered by music,” notes Gilles Arbour, one of the partners at Premiumbeat.com.

“A rapidly growing number of our customers are looking for audio logos, or music stings, to brand their presentation or to strengthen their visual logos,” adds co-partner Francois Arbour, “In addition, Web designers, Flash animators, game developers and video artists are always looking for new audio input. Our goal is to continue to respond to those needs with innovative, high quality products that increase the depth and the breadth of what we offer.”

“We are constantly adding new features to make our client’s experience better. For example, I’ve worked in the Internet industry for almost my whole career, and I’ve seen how important it is that a music selection be validated by other members of a team. To facilitate that we’ve set up a simple system where you can send a music track to a colleague with a note describing your own impression. Our customers love this. We’ve also added a tool where visitors can tag their favorite tracks for future reference. And there’s more to come.”

Premiumbeat.com, a royalty-free music library, is the creation of Francois Arbour and Gilles Arbour. New Music from Roman Zavada

New music from Roman Zavada
Roman’s piano compositions are passionate and sensitive. His style is very fluid and upbeat, and reminiscent of the romantic days of old. His own story has some of that same feeling. His mother was a piano player, so Roman learned to play as soon as he was tall enough to reach the keys. He created his first composition “White Lion” at age 4 and has never stopped composing. He was admitted to the Conservatory at 12, but felt confined by the Institution and chose to develop his talent independently. His work is a rare and special treat – enjoy!

Premiumbeat.com Launches Its New Royalty Free Music Library

Premiumbeat.com, a new provider of high quality royalty-free music, announced today that their online service is now in full operation. Premiumbeat.com offers music for new media and traditional productions. All music files are downloadable instantly.

Montreal, Canada (PRWEB) December 14, 2005 -- Web designers, Flash animation agencies, computer games developers, video artists and many others are often looking for good music. They want to find it rapidly and download it to their desktop immediately because they work at the speed of the Internet. Now Premiumbeat.com (http://www.premiumbeat.com) has launched a service that provides what they need.

“I’ve been a Flash developer for 8 years and I’m always on the lookout for music myself,” says Francois Arbour, one of the partner at Premiumbeat.com. “So I decided to not only create a music library that would entirely meet my needs, but to also provide the same service to everyone else doing the same kind of work”.

According to the Computer Industry Almanach, “the worldwide number of Internet broadband subscribers will surpass 215 million in 2005—up from less than 5M in 1999, and 67M in 2002. Worldwide broadband Internet subscribers are forecasted to reach 500M by the end of 2010”. This market has created an explosion of rich media productions. Companies are now demanding music enriched websites, and advertising and e-learning tools to serve a growing clientele. Music is being integrated at every step.

Nobody wants to go through endless pages of music files to find what they want. Premiumbeat.com offers a user-friendly system that makes it an easy proposition. “The feedback from players in the industry has been excellent” says Francois. “People appreciate our advanced search capability. They say they are finding what they need easily and quickly. Visitors also like the relaxed feeling of the website. Our goal was to provide a focused commercial capability in a comfortable, lounge-like environment, and people are telling us that we’ve succeeded”.

Premiumbeat.com, a royalty-free music library, is the property of François Arbour and Gilles Arbour. François Arbour, an award-winning Macromedia certified Flash Developer, has been working in the multi-media industry for the last 8 years. Gilles Arbour has trained thousands of people in sales and marketing during the last 20 years. Both have seen, over and over, that music makes an enormous difference in a presentation, because it moves people to action. For additional information go to: http://www.premiumbeat.com

Congratulations to the Cesart Team for winning the International Web Design contest - section Canada. Francois Arbour, Flash developer and co-owner of Premiumbeat.com is a member of the winning team. They received the first prize ahead of all other Canadian teams. They will be moving on to represent Canada in Limoges, France this coming February 2006.

They are given 24 hours to develop the concept, create it on the spot, finalize it and present it to the judges. No sleep, lots of teamwork, non-stop programming, the project has to be ready at the 24 hour mark!

Royalty Free Music?

www.premiumbeat.com will be online this coming week-end. François and I are very excited about it. Several people have asked us what exactly is Royalty Free Music and what do people use it for?

So here is the answer directly from our FAQ page…

What is royalty-free music?

Music purchased from Premiumbeat.com’s music library is royalty free. This means that after paying a one-time fee for a user license, you can then use the music you’ve purchased as many times as you wish for as long as you like in accordance with the terms stated in the license agreement. You never have to pay any additional royalty fees based on usage.

How am I allowed to use the music I purchase from Premiumbeat.com?

With your purchase from Premiumbeat.com, you get a permanent, non-exclusive license to utilize the music in applications such as Flash animations, website background music, Podcasts, online tutorials, e-learning tools, slide shows, corporate training videos, Power-point presentations, multimedia CD-rom, promotional DVDs, software demos, video blogs, web-based online video games, etc. You are also welcome to use it for television, radio broadcasting and commercial movies provided you obtain an expanded license required for this type of commercial use.

Does the music I buy belong to me?

No. You do not actually buy the music itself. The copyright to the music remains the property of the composer. What you do own is a license allowing you to use the music for your projects and purposes in accordance with the license agreement.
------
So, there you go. It’s royalty free but not copyright free. So the license user cannot copy the music and resell it as his own work unless it is embedded as part of a finished end product.

Purchasing a license from us is the least expensive way to include quality professional music in any projects.

If you do have more questions, please feel free to contact us.

A Blog for Premiumbeat.com

This is the first entry for our blog. And we're not even online yet.
Several people have seen the beta version of Premiumbeat.com.
The feedback is excellent: warm, ergonomic, great music, etc. We can't wait to show it to the world!

Just a few bugs to iron out and here we comes (insert drums and trumpet here please - royalty free of course...)
